Poorva Saigal

Poorva Saigal serves as the Co-Managing Partner of R Associates, a leading law firm in New Delhi. Having enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi since 2013, she holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Campus Law Center, Faculty of Law, New Delhi, and a Bachelor of Arts (History Honours) from Lady Shri Ram College for Women. She began her professional journey with Sh. M.G. Ramachandran, Senior Advocate, at Ramachandran and Associates, where she worked for almost a decade. During this time, Poorva represented and defended clients in several landmark judgments and contributed to drafting model power purchase agreements for solar, wind, and hybrid projects for companies like NTPC Limited, NVVN, and SECI.

Poorva joined R Associates as a Partner in 2021, where she has since represented various distribution and transmission companies, power corporations, and utilities in a range of legal matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), and several state commissions. She has also rendered legal advice, opinions and drafted contracts for a diverse clientele, including Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, and Hinduja National Power Corporation Limited. With her extensive experience in the energy sector and a strong commitment to her clients, Poorva is a highly respected figure in the legal community.
